Looking for an unforgettable summer experience for your horse-loving child? Aberdeen Farm Day Camp offers the perfect blend of fun, learning, and hands-on time with horses.

Each day, campers enjoy riding lessons tailored to their skill level, along with opportunities to groom, feed, and care for our horses. Beyond the barn, we mix in creative crafts, games, and team activities that make every day exciting.

No prior experience is needed—just a love for horses and a sense of adventure! With limited spots available, early registration is encouraged to secure your child’s place in this unique and memorable camp.

Camp at a Glance

Aberdeen Farm Day Camp begins at 9 AM each morning. Throughout the day, campers will groom and tack their horses, receive a private lesson, learn about horses' colors, markings, breeds, and anatomy, participate in games, and complete crafts.

Campers head home at 2 PM each day to rest, recharge, and gear up for the next day! The week wraps up with a horse show for family and friends, where campers can proudly showcase everything they have learned.

Camp sessions are $450 with payment due at the time of registration. Camp runs Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 2 PM, rain or shine. Friday concludes with a horse show at 12 PM.

FAQs

Q: What should my child wear to camp?
A: Camp days mean fun, and a little mess! Please dress your child in clothes that are comfortable and okay to get dirty. For riding and safety, we require long pants (leggings work great) and close-toe shoes with a small heel, such as paddock boots or similar styles. Tennis shoes are not allowed.

Q: How old does my child need to be to attend camp?
A: Campers must be between the ages of 7 and 14 years old.

Q: Do I need to pack my child a lunch?
A: Yes! Please send your camper with a nut-free snack, a nut-free lunch, and a full water bottle every day. Staying fueled and hydrated is key for a fun and active day at the barn!

Q: Is before or after care available?
A: We do not offer before care, but after care is available from 2 PM to 5 PM, Monday through Thursday. The cost is $10 per hour, and it's a great option for families who need a little extra time in the afternoon.
